Holistic therapy understands that healing is multifactorial and because of this we need to look at the whole person. We don’t live an easy world. We run from one activity to another in an effort to try and attend to family and work and all the rest of the elements that make up our complicated lives. It is understanding how we are living and how it is effecting our healing journey which is key.
Holistic therapy understands the idea that every system works together in the body and to look simply at one system may not get to the heart of the issue. It takes into account all aspects of a person’s health; physical, mental and social. It isn’t just treating the symptoms, only for them to return in a few weeks, months or years rather holistic therapy attempts to address the confluence of multiple contributing factors.
